Thunderdome gives a big middle finger to ticket scalpers

This year’s Thunderdome tickets were again sold out within no-time. Scalpers often make use of this situation and are reselling tickets for extortionate prices, but the organisation is working against this and now announced they release an amount of last minute tickets.

Thunderdome tickets are highly requested and were imidiately sold out when the ticket sale started in June. As the event was meant to sell out for sure, scalpers bought a lot, to resell them later for outrageous prices. Some people who urgently want to go to the famous hardcore event, may be desperate enough to pay this amount of money, what in reverse makes the black market continue to work. Thunderdome, as well as some events before, found a way to fight against it: “Thunderdome likes to give a big middle finger to the ticket scalpers and has therefore withheld a limited number of tickets.” The organisation hopes the people who are still looking for one, buy their ticket on Saturday, the 5th of October, so the scalpers will be left saddled on the money – or will sell them for a reasonable price.

This year’s event will be the biggest Thunderdome edition ever held – with 50 000 visitors from 45 different countries. From Angerfist vs Miss K8 and Korsakoff vs. Catscan to Andy The Core, The Satan and of course anthem maker Dither in a LIVE set: loads of hardcore acts of different subgenres will be spread over six stages at the Jaarbeurs complex.

The last-minute ticket will be sold on Saturday, October 5th at 12:00 on the official Thunderdome website for the regular sales price. The event takes place at Jaarbeurs Utrecht complex on the 26th of October.
